Fogolar Wines 2021 Picone Vineyard Cabernet Franc Rosé

This single vineyard rosé comes from the Picone Vineyard, located atop the edge of the Niagara Escarpment in the Vinemount Ridge subappellation.

Salmon in colour with copper tinges with beautiful aromas of cherry, strawberry, and rhubarb with hints of baking spices and white flower. Flavours of cherry, raspberry, and citrus zest rounded out by gentle acidity with richness and subtle soft tannin.

This rich and round rosé pairs well with a variety of dishes; summer salads with berries and goat cheese, grilled chicken or portobello mushroom tacos, and charcuterie boards to name a few.
